Who we are
Kratern Labs (“we”, “us”) runs kratern.com and builds patient messaging systems for clinics in the United Arab Emirates. For anything about your data, email us.
This notice covers people who visit this site or book a call with us. Patient data we handle for a clinic is covered by the data-processing agreement we sign with that clinic.
What we collect
- When you book a call: your name, clinic name, role, email, WhatsApp number, clinic type, the plan you’re interested in, any note you add and the time you choose.
- When you email or message us: what you send.
We don’t ask for health information. Please don’t include patient or health details in the booking form.
This site doesn’t use advertising cookies or analytics trackers, and its fonts are served from our own site.
Why we use it
- To arrange and hold the call you booked.
- To follow up with you about Kratern after the call.
- To keep a record that you agreed to this.
We use your details because you agree to it when you tick the box on the booking form. You can withdraw that agreement at any time by emailing us. We won’t add you to a mailing list without asking, and we won’t call you outside 9:00 to 18:00 UAE time unless you ask us to.
Who else handles it
When you book a call, your booking details are stored in Google Calendar, a service run by Google. Google may store this data outside the UAE. Google also sends you the calendar invitation for the call.
To show which times are free, the booking calendar on this page asks Google for our busy times when the page opens. As with any website, Google receives your IP address and browser details with that request. Nothing you type is sent until you confirm a booking.
We also use a small number of other service providers to run our email. They process your details only to provide that service to us. Some of them store data outside the UAE. We don’t sell your details or share them for anyone else’s marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep booking details for up to 12 months after our last contact with you. If you become a client, our agreement with your clinic sets how long we keep business contact details.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete them, or tell us to stop contacting you. Email us and we’ll reply within 30 days.
Changes
If we change how we handle your details, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
